Setting up your Shop Profile & Policies

Your shop profile and policies help buyers trust your store and understand how you work. On Lovecraftify, a complete and clear shop setup improves visibility, conversion, and buyer confidence.

1. Access your Shop Settings

To edit your shop profile and policies:

  1. Log in to your Lovecraftify account
  2. Go to Vendor Dashboard
  3. Select Settings → Store

From here, you can manage your store appearance, contact details, policies, and buyer support options.

2. Complete your Shop Profile

Store banner & profile picture

Upload a banner and profile image to represent your brand. A professional banner helps buyers recognize and remember your shop.

Store name & categories

  • Choose a clear, unique store name
  • Select relevant store categories so buyers can find you easily

Store address & contact details

Enter your business address, country, phone number, and (if applicable) company details. This information is used for verification, shipping, and tax compliance.

Note: Your full address is not shown publicly, but city and country may be visible to buyers.

3. Write your Shop Biography

Your biography tells buyers who you are and what makes your products special.

  • Who you are and where you’re based
  • What you sell (Handmade, Print-on-Demand, Digital)
  • Your creative process or inspiration
  • Why buyers should trust your shop
Tip: Shops with a complete biography tend to receive more messages and repeat customers.

4. Enable Buyer Support Buttons

Lovecraftify allows buyers to contact you directly using the Get Support button.

  • Enable support on your store page
  • Enable support on individual product pages
  • Customize the support button text (e.g. “Get Support”)

This helps buyers ask questions before purchasing and reduces disputes.

5. Configure Shop Policies

Shipping policy

Clearly explain how and when you ship orders, including processing times, carriers, and international shipping availability.

Returns & refunds

  • Physical items: define return conditions and timeframes
  • Digital products: typically non-refundable once downloaded

Custom & personalized orders

If you accept custom or personalized orders, explain how buyers should submit details and how revisions are handled.

Vacation mode

If you need time off, you can temporarily close your store publicly using Vacation Mode.

6. Set Order Limits & Discounts (Optional)

  • Set minimum or maximum cart amounts
  • Enable storewide discounts
  • Schedule store open/close times

These tools help you manage workload and promotions effectively.

7. Keep your profile updated

Regularly review and update your shop profile and policies, especially if:

  • You change shipping methods or processing times
  • You add new product types
  • Your business or contact information changes
